This week we have gone into the archives and picked out a series of photos from around 30 years ago looking at some of the swimmers and swimming teams which had attracted the attention of Bolton Evening News photographers.
Bolton has always had a proud tradition or encouraging swimming talent from the very young through to adult members of swimming clubs.
These are just a selection of the many photographs which have been taken at school galas, swimming competitions and of those who have successfully completed fundraising events.
If you were something of a water baby back in the Nineties perhaps you are on one of the photos or you may well recognise someone who is.
