A MAN accused of killing a Bolton father-of-three has appeared in court.

James Howard, aged 23, of North Albert Street, Fleetwood, made a brief appearance at Preston Crown Court yesterday.

He is accused of the manslaughter of 42-year-old Keith Waterworth, formerly of Bolton, who was found dead at his Fleetwood flat last month.

Howard was remanded in custody and will enter his plea at a hearing, due to take place on July 8.

There was no application for bail. A provisional trial date has been set for September 15.
