Hard to believe that it's 30 years since David Coverdale first unleashed Whitesnake upon an unsuspecting world.

Since then they have been at the forefront of Stadium Rock and have produced some memorable songs, most of which are included in this amazing anniversary collection.

There are 52 tracks spread over 3 CDs covering the whole of the band's career. All the tracks have been remastered and sound better than ever. Of course the big hits are here: Is This Love', Fool For Your Loving', and Here I Go Again' to name but three.

Also included are some tracks Coverdale recorded with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin and some storming live tracks like Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues' and Take Me With You'.

We all know that Coverdale was originally in Deep Purple and the influence is obvious on some tracks - especially as a number of ex-Purples were also in Whitesnake.

As I said, ALL of the band's career is represented, and in Best Years' we have an example of what the current line-up is doing as it's from their recently released studio album Good To Be Bad'.

With sleeve notes by Coverdale himself and Mick Wall, this is a great celebration of a massive band.
