Braaten strike earns Reserves timely win

EVERTON RES 2, WANDERERS RES 3: Daniel Braaten gave manager Gary Megson a timely reminder as he got his name on the scoresheet, and helped by a double strike from Kevin Wolze, guided Wanderers to a last-ditch victory.

The Norwegian international put Wanderers in front in the 12th minute when he stole possession from John Irving and fired past Jamie Jones.

Wanderers extended their lead thanks to a curling free-kick from German international Wolze.

Steven Morrison reduced the arrears just after the half hour mark, but Robert Sissons spurned the chance to regain his side's two-goal advantage when Jones saved his spot-kick after Nuno Valente brought down the tricky Braaten.

Everton drew level when Lewis Codling was upended and Morrison slotted home.

With two minutes remaining, Wolze's shot took a wicked deflection to give Wanderers a later winner.

Forget Braaten give wolze a chance as a scoring midfielder is better than a bad striker.

must be planning to use vaz te/andranik/helguson in the 1st team against arsenal then? because once again none of them feature for the reserves :S lets get some fresh ATTACKING blood in the team, nathan wolfe, kevin wolze etc... but then again i think ginger has a phobia of the word attack, either that or hes just clueless....hmm which 1 could it be *scratches head in deep thought*

clearly bratten wont play as in reserves, always a good idea to rest players who are being rested from the 1st team andranik, helgusson, vaz tez, wouldnt want them getting fit by playing a dangerous game like football would we

Is that a trick question like the Direct Line advert as both answers are clearly true

**** you got me :P basically it was one answer, megson is tactically inept, split into two variations, wanted a debate from it but meh ya got me haha

I dont care if your a girl of not. I dont care if you are 20 ore 60 But I care about if your a Bolton fan or not. But im a boy and i practice fotball 3 or 4 times a week, and play at least 1 game each week. And also watch Premier League fotball every weekend in TV. And i have seen every Bolton games in the last months, and ive seen some really bad strikers who dont score goals. So if the reserves scores 3 then I think its time that some of those guys get a chance in the first team. And i know that Braaten was a real star player in Norway.
